 pencil bits

hello. i was wondering what size pencil carbide bit you use? for backfills.

I'm not sure what size it is, but mine is a straight shaft. You know the carbide part is the same circumferance as the shaft of the bit.

well i think i have the tt large, and i thought it drilled out alot of acrylic. i thought maybe i needed a smaller one. i think they have 3 sizes.

I don't know the TT products, we'll have to wait and see if Tammy can help with that one--she knows all the TT stuff. But you should still be able to use just the tip of it with just a lighter pressure to get a thinner shallower smile line carved. And then I use the side of it to bring down the free edge.
We'll see what Tammy has to say.

Tammy only has the two pencil carbid bits. They are the small and long. Then you can get them in either medium or corse.It is the way that you are using the bit if it is taking out too much. If you are new to using this bit I would say get the small medium one.

yes, it was the first time i used it. thanks. i will have to order the small one. i thought maybe i was using it wrong.
